A tiny while ago, I was speaking to a friend about Natalie Portman – the conversation went along the line of how much we like her and how she is a real beauty because she can go bald and still look lovely.
The regular, mindless kind of chit chat about Hollywood celebrities who we think are actually talented.
Then I remembered this short film, Hotel Chevalier, which Wes Anderson made as a prelude to his Darjeeling Limited.
There are so many strange, unexplained tiny details. Like Natalie Portman’s bruises. It is extra wonderful because it is set in Paris.
By the way, the hotel is real.
