[Photo: Exhibit from SIPF 2008 Showcase]
The Singapore International Photography Festival 2010 is still about a year away, but the organisors are already calling for submissions to be featured in the exhibition showcase. The biennial event serves as a platform for local and Southeast Asian photographers, both budding and established, to present their work to an global audience.
The deadline for submission is on 31st March 2010.
There’s an open category and a themed category, HUMAN:NATURE. I thought its a suitably versatile subject, and particularly apt, considering the insane heat wave we’d been experiencing recently.
But of course, one can always interpret the theme less literally. I think that’s what they’re looking for anyway.
I’ll like to send in something, just for fun. You should too! 😀
P.S. If they make that dress the little girl is wearing in my size, I’ll wear it in a jiffy.
