Inspired by this post (which was in turn inspired by this post), I decided to make a list of all the books that I have re-read or look forward to re-reading, even when there are tons of other good reads to devour. And if you take this with the fact that I have an irrational fear of never finishing all the books I want to read, my willingness to take time out to read these books again says quite a lot about how worthy they are.

In no particular order:

  1. American Gods - Neil Gaiman
  2. Neverwhere - Neil Gaiman
  3. The Time Traveler’s Wife - Audrey Niffenegger
  4. The Night Watch Tetralogy - Sergei Lukyanenko
  5. The Vampire Chronicles – Anne Rice
  6. Shantaram - Gregory David Roberts
  7. Trainspotting – Irvin Welsh
  8. Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell - Susanna Clarke
  9. Jitterbug Perfume - Tom Robbins
  10. The Book Thief - Markus Zusak
  11. The Phantom Tollbooth – Norton Juster
  12. The Picture of Dorian Gray – Oscar Wilde
  13. 1984 - George Orwell
  14. The Animal Farm – George Orwell
  15. Harry Potter – J.K Rowling

There are many more that didn’t make the list (including all of Roald Dahl’s stories) because I decided that 15 is a good number to stop at.
